Michael
Lindhof German Engineer graduate, business manager and a rising star
within the aviation/airport ground handling industry.
Mid 1980’s: Military service
with the German Army, Berlin Technical University Engineering Degree
in Aviation Engineering focused on ground handling within the
aviation sector.
Late 1980’s to early 1990’s: Various
posts with Tempelhof USA, Pan Am and Checkpoint B Jet Service in
Berlin. Consulted to IL-18 Air Cargo/Berline. Former operative part
of Interflug, East German Airlines.
1993 to present: Various positions
within Checkpoint B, a ground handling company including station
manager, project manager during liberalization of ground handling
companies in Germany and responsible for the development of the
station at Hamburg airport. Project consulting for Lufthansa on
ground operations in Munich.
Current: General manager of the
largest independent ground handling company in FRA, Acciona Airport
Services. Responsible for over 600 employees and 30 million Euros
revenue.
Current and active member of IATA’s
Ground Handling council of airside safety group.
Mr. Lindhof lives in Frankfurt and
usually spends weekends in Berlin.
His hobbies include aviation
photography, collecting and mixing music, extensive traveling and
spending time with his sister Andrea who also lives in Frankfurt.
