Our Staff
 Gregory Robbin, Chairman
Born
in Venecia, Colombia, Gregory has had a life time experience as
an aviation entrepreneur. In the 1960's he worked in Sam Airlines
Colombia, then in the early 1970's he was a co-founder of ACES
Airlines Colombia. Gregory has been involved in areas such as
buying/selling aircraft, parts logistics, repair management,
and is an advisor to several airlines in Latin America.
On
weekends you'll find Gregory enjoying boating, swimming, and
gardening. Gregory has been married for over 40 years to his
wife Lucy, and has one son and one daughter.
 Juan
Gregory Robbin, President
Founding
member of the company, over the last 21 years Juan has worked in
every area of Sky Mart. As President of the company, Juan has
overseen the company through many difficult changes and
obstacles over the last 6 years. His work style is results
oriented, easy going, friendly, detailed and focused.
Born in
Colombia, he came to the US at age 7 with his parents. Was
schooled in Miami Florida and did his undergraduate studies at
the University of Miami, graduating with a degree in
International Business Management.
Most weekends
you will find Juan enjoying his hobbies that include: collecting
sports cars, motorcycles, aviation/flying, gym, movies, boating,
photography, reading, and traveling among other things. He is
also active in charity work and mentoring. "I have dedicated my
life to learn about every facet of aviation, and feel very lucky
that I get to manage a business in an industry I am deeply
passionate about."
Other business ventures
include: Classic Car and Aircraft restorations,
Automotive editor of Key Biscayne Magazine and La Isla Times
Newspaper, and senior manager
for Legendary Airliners and Legendary 4X4 LLC. Companies.
 Lucy
Verswyvel, Administrative VP
Lucy is one of the founding
partners of Sky Mart. She is responsible for the day-to-day
administrative and financial decisions of the company. She has a
degree in finance and has worked in this area for over 35 years.
Married for over 40 years, with a son and daughter; she graduated
from La Sorbonne and Le Cordon Bleu in Paris.
She is an accomplished chef and
enjoys cooking, wine tasting, entertaining, traveling and gardening.
 Ana
Maria Robbin, VP of Purchasing
A University of Miami graduate
with a degree in International Business Management, Ana Maria
brings with her a wealth of business knowledge. She has been a
part of the Sky Mart team well over 4 years with previous
experience which includes working for Microsoft Corp., and
Diplomatic Resolutions in Washington D.C..
Ana Maria is excellent at
handling our Airline contract sales and our foreign military
business.
Some of Ana Maria's hobbies and
interests include, organizing parties, cooking, sports which
include golf, tennis, swimming, and skiing. On weekends she's
usually working at lowering her handicap at golf, or at "chic"
local Miami eateries with good friends.
 Margarita
Velasquez, Sales Representative
Since 1985, Margarita is Sky
Mart's 1st employee and still remains as one of our most
cherished staff members. She has been involved in many areas of
the company such as: Sales, purchasing, public relations,
technical service, & special projects. Margarita shines when
talking and helping our valued clients. She is polite, friendly
and very well educated.
Born in Colombia, South America,
she is married and lives in Coral Gables (Miami suburb) with her
husband Humberto.
Margarita likes to help people
and is active in civic services in her community, cooking,
reading, foreign affairs and current events among others.
 Eric
Chez, Quality Coordinator/ IT / Marketing Manager
Eric Chez a native to the
Dominican Republic and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Eric has been Sky
Mart's Information Technology and Marketing Manager since July 2001.
He is also the Quality Coordinator, ensuring the overall
implementation and maintenance of the Sky Mart's Quality
Assurance Program.
His interests and hobbies
include: Dancing, Billiards, computers, movies, reading and spending time with his
son Anthony.
 Sandra
Rivera, HR & Accounting Manager
Born in Medellin, Colombia, a certified public
accountant, obtained in 1996 at the Universidad Autonoma
LatinoAmericana. Sandra has well over 20 years experience in
the area of accounting.
Her hobbies include going to the beach, any
outdoor activity, travel, and spending time with her family.
She also enjoys good
dining.
 Lourdes
Gonzalez, Sales Representative
Lourdes has extensive (15+ years) in
aviation. She has a strong parts and customer service
background. Lourdes was born in New York and grew up in Havana
and Miami. Her hobbies include arts and crafts and spending time
with her son and husband. Her son is active in the Army.
Cliff Horne, Technical
Sales/Purchasing
After graduating from
Braniff Aviation School in Dallas, TX as a licensed A&P in 1980,
Cliff worked in the "Engine Repair & Overhaul" (ERO) sector of
aviation for twenty years. Cliff also managed the power plant
division for many years for an international airline in Fort
Lauderdale. Cliff has extensive jet turbine engine experience
and has traveled internationally for most of his career.
On Weekends Cliff enjoys
swimming, golf and traveling.
Mauriel Vega, Sales Support
Mauriel born in Mangaua Nicaragua migrated
along with his family to Miami 20 years ago in search for a
better life.
Currently Mauriel seeks a double major in management and human
resource at Florida International University.
Mauriel enjoys outdoors sports such as baseball, football,
basketball and soccer
Juan Guillermo Gonzalez, Materials
Manager / Quality Director
Juan is
a University graduate in Business Management. Juan has
over 18 years experience in management of airline materials and
repairs. Juan is in charge of all parts and components that Sky Mart has for sale and exchange.
His hobbies include soccer, movies, and
spending time with his wife and 2 children. Juan moved to Miami in August 2005 with his family.
 Fidel
Pena, Warehouse Coordinator
Born in Havana, Cuba, Fidel has lived in
Miami sine 1973. He graduated from Miami Coral Park Senior High
in 1977. Interest includes fishing,
shooting, and spending time with his family.
 Fernando
Casas, Warehouse Assistant Fernando has been working for Sky Mart for
over a year, assisting with our inbound and outbound shipments.
His interests include dancing, music, and
traveling.
 Dorian
Niño, Administrative Assistant
Born in Elizabeth, NJ, Dorian is of Colombian
descent. She graduated from Braddock with a scholarship to
Visual Arts Honors Program.
Dorian enjoys dancing, drawing, painting, but
most importantly spending time with her 3 year old son, Evin.
